Tend - Mother's Circle

Motherhood can often feel isolating. Whether it’s the literal or figurative feeling of doing it alone, the impact on our mental, physical, and emotional health is real. But here’s what I know for certain: when mothers and women come together, something beautiful happens.

'Tend' is the second circle in my autumn series of three monthly in-person Mother's Circles.

The purpose? To create a nurturing space where you can reconnect with yourself, release what no longer serves, and share experiences with others who truly get it.

These gatherings will be held in the peaceful workshop space at -

Oak and Haven: 7 The Mall, Croydon South VIC 3136.

Dates for the autumn season are as follows:

April 27

May 25

**Stay tuned, as more seasonal dates will be announced later this year**

I’ve carefully planned these dates to make them as accessible as possible, but please note that some may be subject to change. If adjustments are needed, I’ll make sure you have plenty of notice (after all, I’m navigating the juggle of motherhood, too!).

What to expect from a Mother’s Circle:
In Circle, we come together as our whole selves. We co-create a safe space to be seen, heard, and accepted. You are invited to share, but there is no pressure to do so.

Sometimes, simply being present in circle is all we need. We don’t offer advice or try to ‘fix’ what’s shared; instead, we embrace the beauty of giving and receiving.

The finer details:

  • 2 - 2.5 hours of nourishing time together

  • Small, intimate group of no more than 6 mothers.

  • A warm welcome with a grounding meditation.

  • Oracle card and short journal activity.

  • Sharing/listening time (this is where the magic happens!).

  • Closing grounding practice.

Nourishing snacks will be provided, and a comfortable space to sit, reflect, and recharge will be waiting for you. Babes in arms are always welcome.

What to bring:

Bring along your journal, a yoga mat if you prefer your own, a pillow or blanket for extra comfort and a friend if you’d like some company.

Exchange:

$60 per circle

Exploring Matrescence

& the Alchemy of Change

Calling all postpartum mothers, caregivers and birthing people.

If you are feeling a pull to connect with self.

If you are wanting to dive deeper into your own Matrescence.

If you need time and space to unpack the development you have undergone since becoming a mother, then this is your invitation.

Join me for a 2 hour, guided, self reflective session where we will unravel your motherhood experience. Celebrating your inner wisdom, celebrating your triumphs and finding space to sit with the challenges.

What's included?

- Guided meditation to ground into the workshop and set intention for the time we spend together.

- Exploration of your embodied experience of Matrescence including a deep dive into what this concept is, where it originated and how this process unfolds.

- Self reflective journal activities where we will uncover the ways motherhood has changed you. You will be afforded a rare opportunity to examine the gifts and hurdles that motherhood can bring.

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, as the traditional custodians of the land I live/work on and who have birthed and mothered long before me. I acknowledge and respect their unique ability to care for Country and their deep spiritual connection to it. I pay my respects to Wurundjeri Elders, past, present and emerging and the Aboriginal Elders of other communities who may also be here today.
